I went to the room earlier in the day and set up. She is in love with stringed lights above a bed, so naturally I put heart shaped valentine lights up. At the foot of the bed I had arranged 3 red roses, a box of truffles and caramels, and a love note which I had sealed with a heart stamp and pink wax.

I made her close her eyes and stand at the foot of the bed with the lights out. I told her to open them, then said happy Valentine’s day as I flicked on the lights. As she turned around to look at me in disbelief, I turned the fireplace on with the remote, then kissed her. I told her to say “Hi” to the camera because I had recorded the whole thing. She let out one of those “oh my god” giggles that made me feel all tingly.  We both waved at the camera and embraced before I stopped filming.

She got me a beautiful bouquet of Red Roses, Chocolate, Love Cuff’s, a hand written note, and a deck of cards (52 things she loves about me) where each card had a really well thought out thing that she loved about me or us :) I almost died because I had seen the deck of cards in her purse like 20 times, she had been working on it for months<3 Then she went to the other room and came back wearing lacy lingerie. I had never been more turned on in my entire life.

We laid in the whirlpool jacuzzi, eating strawberries with chocolate dip, staring at the fireplace with our arms wrapped around each other until our eyes felt heavy and we decided to spoon each other to sleep.

Needless to say, I had the Valentines Day I’ve always dreamed of <3
